Anne - Speaking of good eats reads, I'd love to recommend Bill Buford's HEAT, it is absolutely and unequivocally outstanding… I have also enjoyed Michael Ruhlman's THE SOUL OF A CHEF and THE REACH OF A CHEF -- very interesting and well written. Anthony Bourdain is probably an acquired taste, but his KITCHEN CONFIDENTIAL fascinated me. Jamie Oliver's JAMIE'S ITALY is more of a cookbook, but there are great stories in there too. And speaking of cookbooks, if I could only own two cookbooks they would be ITALIAN EASY and ITALIAN TWO EASY by Rose Gray and Ruth Rogers -- amazing recipes and stunningly simple presentations!
