A Day in the Life
of a Happy Hen
Our hens start each day at first light, scratching, pecking, and investigating their surroundings. By mid-morning, most of the day’s eggs are laid—around 3,000 eggs daily! Our crew, from Kelsey and Ashley to farm hands and family, gather these fresh treasures every day, ensuring a steady supply for markets and restaurants near and far.

With open-air coops and acres of fresh pasture, our hens are free to roam, all thanks to their dedicated guardians—our livestock dogs. These watchful protectors allow the hens to forage safely day and night, guarding against any unwanted visitors that might fancy a chicken sandwich.
