Cumberland Folk School

Join us for a weekend broom making workshop with broom maker and woodworker Heather Ashworth. Students will leave with a finished cobweb and hearth broom, perfect for use or to display. Farm fresh lunch and a light Sunday morning breakfast included in this full experience workshop.

ONE DAY -and- ONE MORNING

Saturday, April 9: 9am-3:30pm. Introduction to broom making and demonstration, tying broomcorn to handles and setting to dry overnight. Lunch included.

Sunday, April 10: 9am-11:30pm. Light breakfast and coffee. Finishing up brooms with final stitching. Trading post open for shopping farm goods.
